Long Distance Relationships and the Miles We Have Traveled

Long distance relationships or LDR's as I like to call them can be the difference between the survival or the extinction of a relationship. I use the word “extinction” to describe how the feelings eventually fade away. There are two known facts to LDR's: either the heart grows fonder or it grows more distant. How you decide to handle yourself in the relationship determines which one will become of you and your mate.

Between outside influences (ex's, friends, etc.), the relationship is under constant war. The limits of your love will be tested but if you rely on each other for support, your relationship should stand the test of time. You will then have a deeper connection with your significant other once you close the distance and reunite with each other.

I have been in a few long distance relationships and it completely depended on how much we cared for one another. With a strong and trusting relationship you learn to respect one another and that ladies and
gentlemen is the key to the game....respect!
